Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband has asked fans to pray for the actress as she recovers in hospital.

The 93 year old was injured in a fall last weekend (17Jul10) and subsequently underwent hip-replacement surgery.

Fears for her health grew after her condition was described as "critical" and Prince Frederic von Anhalt, Gabor's husband of 14 years, has revealed she underwent a blood transfusion at the Ronald Reagan Ucla Medical Center on Friday (23Jul10).

He tells the Associated Press Gabor is conscious and was able to whisper to him on Saturday (24Jul10) - and now he's calling on all her loved ones and admirers to keep her in their thoughts.

He says, "She is in so much pain. I ask all who love her to please, please pray for her. She is very weak. The doctors put her on morphine because she was in so much pain".
